Bureau Veritas successfully launches a second bond issue  

Neuilly-sur-Seine, January 16, 2014 - Bureau Veritas has today undertaken the placement of a EUR 500 million bond issue. The seven-year, non-rated issue with a coupon of 3.125% was successfully placed.  

The transaction was well oversubscribed and illustrates the confidence of investors in the Bureau Veritas business model as well as the interest in the quality of its credit profile.  

The operation enables Bureau Veritas to continue diversifying its financing sources and to accompany its development, especially for the acquisition of Maxxam Analytics, the Canadian leader in laboratory testing services.  

BNP PARIBAS, HSBC BANK PLC, NATIXIS, SOCIETE GENERALE and THE ROYAL BANK OF SCOTLAND PLC acted as lead managers for this bond issue.
