With reference to the offer document regarding the proposed acquisition of Sea4 AS dated 5. August 2009, GC Rieber Shipping ASA hereby announces that the offer will not be completed. The conditions for the offer has not been satisfied and GC Rieber Shipping ASA has not been allowed to perform a due diligence review of the company and its subsidiaries.
