GC Rieber Shipping - Natural Environment Research Council exercises option on RRS Ernest Shackleton


The Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) declares its first option for a one year extension of the bareboat charter for "RRS Ernest Shackleton". The option will be effective from August 2014.

"RRS Ernest Shackleton" has been on a long-term charter with NERC`s British Antarctic Survey since August 1999. NERC further holds four annual options to extend the bareboat charter.
