In the Board meeting today, the Board of Directors of Grieg Seafood ASA approved the Annual Accounts for 2008. The loss before tax was NOK -441.9 million in the approved Annual Accounts for 2008, and the net loss after taxes NOK -344.4 million. The result after tax is NOK 6.1 million lower than the result presented in the preliminary account on February 27, 2009. The change is related to an adjustment of the book value of the livestock at sea, related to the ISA situation in the Shetlands.

 

Correspondingly, equity was reduced by NOK 5.8 million to NOK 928.6 million per December 31, 2008 in the approved Balance Sheet.
